Pleasanton, CA -- June 16th-- All Seasons Homecare is currently seeking experienced caregivers and certified nursing assistants in the Livermore, Pleasanton and Dublin areas as well as Contra Costa County. We provide elderly clients with compassionate, caring individuals that deliver non-medical in-home care. Applicants must have minimum of one year caregiving experience and pass a thorough background check.

Job Description:

While each Client and case has different needs, the following is an overview of all the possible functions of a caregiver or CNA:

  • Bathing: Stand by assistance or sponge bathing
  • Dressing/Grooming: Includes combing hair, brushing teeth, etc.
  • Transferring: Assistance in getting the Client from point A to point B
  • Toileting: Assisting the Client in the restroom
  • Medication Supervision: Caregivers are not allowed to administer medication (hand to mouth), however they are to remind the Client when to take medication.
  • Exercises: Caregivers will need to assist and supervise exercises recommended by the Client’s doctor or physical therapist
  • Feeding: Remind and encourage Client to eat meals and/or snacks.
  • Meal Preparation/ Special Diet: Caregivers are to provide all meals during assigned shift at the Clients request.
  • Light Housekeeping: Caregivers are to provide vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, starting and unloading dishwasher and bed changes. EXCEPTIONS: No window washing, gardening, wood cutting, car washing, painting and heavy household jobs.
  • Laundry: Washing, drying and folding of laundry
  • Marketing/Errands: Caregivers are there to assist the Client with errands such as grocery shopping, post office, etc. You also may be asked to do this without the Client.
  • Doctor Appointments: Assisting the Client to and from doctor appointments, getting the Client in and out of the car safely.
  • Companionship: Providing more than just care to the Client, but a sense of friendship as well.
  • Driving: If the assignment requires driving the Client, you are required to submit the proper documentation including driver’s license, DMV printout, current registration, and insurance to the Staffing Manager.
  • Constant Supervision: Based on individual Client requirements, some Clients can not be left alone and require constant and full attention.
